Oh no! You guys are great. But sometimes a girl wants to reminisce with her Boston friends about saving parking spaces with lawn chairs...

Hmm....It won't rain, will it?

Let's see. Anytime between Sept 27 and Dec 14? I can pretty much 100% guarantee it'll rain. But it's different rain here! Less pouring. More drizzly. Much better than Boston!

tempting... and stop ragging on Boston! ;p

Nelly, it's so TEMPTING you should DO IT!!!

And I am sorry--I really did mean that comment about Boston in the best possible way. You know, it's just one of those idiosyncratic things that makes me love it. (Well, "love" not be the best word to describe my feelings about parking, but you know what I mean...)

Oh my....drizzle instead of rain..."Less pouring" instead of "more pouring."

Are there local microbrews to be sampled? (This part is probably a sly joke.)

I have a lot of vacation to burn...

Are there local microbrews??? Oh, maybe 1 or 2. You can apparently even bike to the Red Hook brewery (20 miles on a nice flat trail), take a "tour" (ie, drink a bunch and pretend to pay attention to the person talking), and then drunk-bike home. Drunk-bike! (Perhaps my clipless pedals wouldn't be the best option for that ride...)

I had great sleep on that futon. Isn't drunk biking akin to drunk driving in some states?

Ooh. In that case, I'd never endorse it...but it seems like you could only hurt yourself drunk biking. Well, I guess you could run into someone...

Hmm. Maybe we should forget I said anything about that.

This sounds better and better (well, not the drunk part)....not sure how I'd get my bike out there, though.

Maybe I'd rent one? Do they have bikes for rent out there? Another joke, though not half as sly or funny as the previous one.

Calendar says today's the 21st, and I need to decide by tomrrow... Hmmm....

That's an excellent question, Chris (er, Rotorglow). We actually have 2 extra bikes here (okay, I have no extra bikes but Nate has 2). As long as you're between 5'5" and 6'5" (approximately--basically not a midget like me), bikes for everyone! (Well, 2 people maximum at a time.)

So ppl not in Boston aren't welcome on your futon? (hurumph)

James, is that you? EVERYONE is welcome on the futon (although not at the same time), it's just that the special deal was from Boston. But if you want to come from Ohio, you should!
